Bottle Cap Pendants

So it's my first post. I've had a diary before over at Open Diary, but I've never had a blog. I'm sure it's relatively the same, but some things are going to be different. I'll definitely have to get used to the format and layout here.

Last week I started making some bottle cap pendants. I'm experiementing really. Although I hope they turn out. I finally had to put them in another room where I couldn't look at them every five minutes to see if they were dry.

I bought some one inch circle punches from another supplier on Etsy, along with some unused bottle caps. Fortunately I was able to find a supplier locally here in Plano who sold Diamond Glaze so I didn't have to wait for that to come in the mail. Initially, I wanted to use resin on top of the paper circles, but I didn't have any at the time. Also, resin scares me. I have to get over that because I really want to start working with it soon. *that's another topic to discuss later*

So I'm still avoiding the bottle caps. I think I'll go look.

Well, my initial reaction is that they are better than expected. I know that resin will most likely work better, but it was worth a shot.

When I'm sure they are completely dry, I will start taking some pictures. I'll post here when I get that done.
